The news of the four cities was from a video that first appeared on YouTube on November 20 at around 5:00 PM CT. Even though it was made private almost immediately, all the details were out there.

According to Riot, the next League of Legends World Championship will be hosted in multiple countries. The action will start in Mexico City at the Liga Latinoamerica. Next, the action will shift to New York at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and Toronto at Scotiabank Arena, where the quarterfinals and semi-final will be held, respectively. The culmination of the 2022 League of Legends World Championship will then go to San Francisco at the Chase Center.

Like the recently concluded 2021 LoL World Championships, next year's event will also feature online eSports betting sites with League of Legends markets. Expect bookmakers to cover all the action, right from the tournament's first match, to the finals. That said, fans of LoL should start acquainting with some eSport betting tips in advance.

During the event, the top teams in the game will be battling for glory. Some of the best teams to bet on in the upcoming LoL Championship include FunPlus Phoenix, T1, Damwon KIA, G2 Esports, Invictus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up, PSG Talon, and Edward Gaming Internationals.

LoL 2022 Worlds is expected to be bigger and better than the last events. This is both at the eSports scene, as well as betting. In next year's event, fans will be present at the venues now that Covid-19 is slowly being contained and things are getting back to normalcy. Remember, in this year's recently concluded event, the matches were played in empty arenas.

Things will also be heated up on the betting scene now that eSports betting has grown exponentially, attracting top bookmakers who want a piece of the eSports betting market share.

2021 League of Legends WC

The 2021 League of Legends World Championship was earlier planned to be hosted in Shenzhen. However, because of the effects of the pandemic, the event was moved to Reykjavik. It took place from October 5 to November 6. Twenty-two elite teams from 11 regions were battling for glory. To the surprise of many bettors who had wagered on the winner before the event started, Edward Gaming (EDG) took the crown edging out DWG KIA in a heated final.

That is it for now. All eSports bettors can do now is closely follow the different teams' form to be better positioned to bet wisely when the 2022 League of Legends World Championship starts.
