Apex Legends, like most battle royales, follows a seasons system to organize its available loot and modes. Each season has a set start and end date, lasting approximately three months.

Apex Legends Season 20: Breakout - New Content, Duration, and Rewards

What to Expect in Each Season

Every season of Apex Legends introduces exciting new content, including:

  • A new legend
  • Balance changes
  • Battle pass
  • Cosmetic items
  • Weapons
  • Maps

Starting from season five, quests were added to the game. These daily and weekly goals help players earn points towards the battle pass, unlocking rewards for each level achieved. Quests can also align with collection or lore events and have their own separate trackers.

The most recent season, Breakout, began on February 13. It features the newly evolved legend armor system, unique legend upgrade trees for all 25 characters, and the Thunderdome, the largest map available in all three Mixtape game modes.

Season Duration and Rewards
