Unleash Devastating Attacks with the Shadowflame Rune in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery

In the second phase of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery, Warlocks have gained access to a new and powerful Rune called Shadowflame. This Rune, along with other damage Runes, has made Warlocks even more formidable.

Obtaining the Shadowflame Rune

To obtain the Shadowflame Rune, Warlocks must travel to the Shadowbreak Ravine in the south eastern portion of Desolace. There, they will find an Altar that they need to interact with. To activate the Altar, Warlocks must cast the spell Shadow Ward on it. However, it is important to note that the Altar will drain shadow damage from the Warlock while they are channeling the spell. Breaking the Shadow Ward or healing during the interaction will interrupt the ritual.

It is advisable for Warlocks to bring a party with them, as the Altar is guarded by high-level mobs. Once the channeling spell is complete, a level 38 Elite Demon named Seductress Ceeyna will spawn. Warlocks must defeat this demon and loot its body to obtain the Shadowflame Rune.

The Power of Shadowflame

Shadowflame is an instant cast Warlock Rune that unleashes a cone of Shadow and Fire damage in front of the Warlock. This Rune, combined with powerful pet damage and Damage over Time (DoT) spells, further enhances the Warlock's burst damage and area-of-effect capabilities.

Warlocks, who have limited short-range combat options, can use Shadowflame to effectively deal with enemies that get too close. It serves as a valuable tool for maintaining distance and dealing significant damage.

With the addition of the Shadowflame Rune, Warlocks in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery have become even more formidable. Mastering this Rune will allow Warlocks to unleash devastating attacks and dominate their foes.
