Obtain the Mind Spike Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery

In World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery phase two, Shadow Priests have access to a new Rune called Mind Spike. This Rune is essential for their endgame damage-dealing rotation. Mind Spike inflicts Shadowfrost damage on the target and increases the critical strike chance of the next Mind Blast by 30 percent. The critical strike chance can stack up to three times.

To obtain the Mind Spike Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, players need to complete the Highway Robbery questline. This questline becomes available after reaching level 30. The questline begins by interacting with an Extinguished Campfire located northwest of the Kodo Graveyard in the center of Desolace (coordinates 47, 54).

After starting the questline, players should travel northeast to find Bibbly F’utzbuckle, a Goblin sitting near Kormek’s Hut (coordinates 63, 39). Talking to Bibbly F’utzbuckle allows players to turn in the Highway Robbery quest and pick up another quest called On the Lam.

The next step is to travel to Booty Bay in the Eastern Kingdoms. Tokal can be found on the lower level of the inn. Players should talk to Tokal to turn in the On the Lam quest and pick up the quest called Cherry for Your Thoughts?. To complete this quest, players need to buy a Cherry Grog from the bartender and give it to Tokal. Tokal will then offer another quest called No Honor Among Thieves.

The final quest in the chain, No Honor Among Thieves, can be completed in Arathi Highlands. Players should find a rowboat located between Arathi Highlands and Wetlands (coordinates 53, 91) and interact with it. This will teleport them to the eastern shore of the zone, where they will find Illari Duskfeather. If Illari is not present, she may have been killed by another player and will respawn in a few minutes.

Players should speak to Illari and engage in combat with her, unless they are Night Elves, in which case they can choose a friendly option. Illari is level 40, so lower-level players may want to bring friends for assistance. After defeating Illari or choosing the friendly option, she will drop a pouch containing Illari’s Key. This key opens Illari’s Loot Cache located near the shack. Opening the cache rewards players with a Jewel-Encrusted Box, which contains the coveted Mind Spike Rune.
